A bronze statue of actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) was unveiled at Hosalli Camp in Sindhanur, Raichur District, Karnataka. The inauguration was conducted by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National General Secretary Nara Lokesh, with Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and Sanjay Seth present at the ceremony.
The event was attended by members of the Telugu-speaking community in Karnataka.
The statue was created by Rajkumar Wadiyar, a bronze sculptor from Karnataka who describes himself as a fourth-generation traditional sculptor (shilpi). Wadiyar has previously created statues of political and cultural figures across India.
At the ceremony, Nara Lokesh addressed the Telugu community in Sindhanur, acknowledging their support and reaffirming TDP’s commitment to Telugu-speaking populations outside Andhra Pradesh.
