(Report) – Meta’s WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram were down for thousands of users across the United States on Wednesday, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.
Multiple Meta services, including Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Threads are experiencing a widespread outage, including users in the United States, Pakistan, India and Israel. According to reports, users of the Meta application may not be able to access their messages or experience extremely long wait times.
A widespread outage affecting Facebook and Instagram has left millions of users unable to access these popular social media platforms. The outage, which began around Wednesday, has been confirmed by Downdetector, a real-time service that tracks website and app outages.
