Ex – MNA of PTI Alamgir Khan Arrested From Karachi (ATC in action)

The former MNA Alamgir Khan was arrested during a raid at his house in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi.

ATC handed over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Alamgir Khan to police on physical remand on May 9 case. Police on Thursday produced the PTI leader before the court at the Karachi Central Jail Anti-Terrorism Complex.

According to the police, an arrest warrant was issued for Alamgir Khan in the case of arson and rioting. Alamgir’s bail was canceled in two cases.

Also the ATC court has sent the accused, Javed and Gul Nisa, to jail on judicial remand in the airpor blast case.

Alamgir Khan was arrested in connection to PTI  ‘do-or-die’ protest call by PTI founder Imran Khan at D-Chowk, Islamabad.

According to reports, Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra issued the warrants as part of Case No. 1032, which involves allegations of illegal activities during the protest. The warrants were secured by Kohsar Police, targeting 96 individuals named in the case.

Who is Alamgir Khan?

Alamgir Khan is a Pakistani Philanthropist and political leader who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Oct 2018 till Jan 2023. Alamgir belongs to South Waziristan currently living in Karachi, Pakistan.

Alamgir Khan is the founder and CEO of Fixit. After pursuing a MBA degree from Iqra University, Alamgir started a Fix It in January 2016.
